First picture of Astro Pi in space

This morning, Tim Peake posted the first in space image of the Astro Pi payload to his social media accounts. The pink glow is the light from the Columbus module greenhouse experiment, where flowers are being grown in microgravity. If you look closely, you can see Tim reflected in the push buttons…

The Astro Pi is not online yet; it will be plugged in and turned on later this month, and then the competition-winning programs will begin to run.
